Pokot leaders declare war on female cut
This is newspaper article dated 19th July 2010 regarding a declaration the Pokot Leaders made at Ortum to end FGM/C and Cattle Rustling. They confirmed that these two issues are plaguing development within their region. This is a milestone for Pokot as last year, it was reported that it had the highest number of girls subjected to FGM/C.
